About the Central Asian Youth Health Innovation Conference

The Central Asian Youth Health Innovation Conference (CAYHIC) is a fully online, free conference that brings together university students from across Central Asia to explore the intersection of healthcare, research, and innovation. Our mission is to empower the next generation of health innovators by giving them direct access to world-class experts, hands-on challenges, and a cross-border community of peers who share their passion for improving health outcomes in the region.

The conference features expert presentation sessions led by healthcare professionals, researchers, and scientists from leading institutions around the world, a Health Innovation Challenge where participants develop and present solutions to real-world healthcare problems, and a closing ceremony with awards and certificates of participation. CAYHIC is built on four pillars: Explore, Learn, Connect, and Innovate — guiding participants from discovering new ideas to creating their own.

CAYHIC is designed for university students in their 1st through 6th year of study from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan who are pursuing degrees in medicine, pharmacy, dentistry, public health, biomedical sciences, biology, and related fields. The conference is conducted entirely in English and hosted online so that students from every corner of the region can participate without barriers of cost or travel.

The conference is organized by a dedicated team of volunteers and student leaders committed to expanding access to health innovation education in Central Asia. Our organizing team handles program design, speaker outreach, social media, web development, and day-of-event operations. CAYHIC is supported by educational partners and institutions that share our vision of a connected, informed, and empowered generation of young health professionals driving change across the region.
